Faira, planet Emote’s Digital Goddess, stands in the Core Room.
"What's the matter with you, Core?" She said in a worried voice. "You're not producing Content like you used to."
The goddess feels a strange sadness coming from the Core.
"No! At this rate, Emote is going to be in danger!"
Although Gamindustri’s CPUs and the VTubers saved Virtualand, and thus the planet Emote, its Core is now having problems.
Faira thinks quickly. What powers can help the Core and prevent a catastrophe from befalling her planet? At first, she thought about the powers of the CPUs and VTubers, then she knows what it takes. The Power of Song! Faira immediately uses her powers to summon help, but she can only summon one person at a time.
A 16-year-old teenager with purple hair, blue eyes and wearing a yellow dress, appears in a flash of light.
"Where am I?" asks the girl.
"Welcome to the planet Emote’s Core Room. I am Faira, the Digital Goddess."
"What? Planet Emote? A goddess?"
"Yes. What is your name?"
"Creamy Mami. I'm in the middle of a concert, you have to take me back."
"Don't worry. Here in Virtualand, time doesn't flow in the same way. No one will notice your absence."
"Okay. So, uh, Faira, why did you bring me here?"
"It's the Core. It’s experiencing problems. Only the Power of Song can help it."
"I don't understand."
"You just have to sing it a song."
"Sing it a song?"
"Please, Creamy Mami, you're the only one who can help it."
That's not quite true, since Faira can bring in other people, but the more songs the Core gets, the better.
"Okay." Creamy Mami says with a smile.
She approaches the Core and sings Delicate Ni Sukishite.
♪ Otoko no ko to chigau onna no ko tte ♪
The Core reacts to the song because it shines while Creamy Mami sings. When the idol has finished, Faira thanks her.
"Do you like it, Core?" Asks the Digital Goddess before speaking to Creamy Mami. "I'll take you back to your world now."
"Wait, I—"
Creamy Mami disappears in a flash of light. Faira brings in someone else.
A 15-year-old girl with blue hair and brown eyes appears in a flash of light. Like Creamy Mami before her, she asks where she is.
"Welcome to the planet Emote’s Core Room. I am Faira, the Digital Goddess."
"Wooooow. I'm Fancy Lala."
"Nice to meet you. I brought you here because the Core is having problems. Only the Power of Song can help it."
"The Power of Song? Should I sing something to it?"
"Absolutely, then I'll take you back to your world."
Fancy Lala approaches the Core and she sings Transparency.
♪ su ｷke ｷte miesou na no ♪
The Core reacts to the song as it glows while Fancy Lala sings. When she finishes, Faira thanks her warmly.
"Core? You seem to be doing a little better." Said the Digital Goddess before speaking to Fancy Lala." I'll take you back to your world now."
"Okay. Good luck, Faira! You too, Core!"
Fancy Lala disappears in a flash of light. Faira brings in someone else.
An almost adult 17-year-old girl with light brown hair and orange eyes appears in a flash of light.
"AHHHHHH!" She shouts, surprised. "Where am I?"
"Welcome to the planet Emote’s Core Room. I am Faira, the Digital Goddess."
"Huh?"
"I know this sounds strange, but..."
"Why am I here?"
"It's the Core. It's having problems. Only the Power of Song can help it."
"Ahhhh~, so you want me to sing."
"Right."
"Sure. Why not? I'm Hibiki."
Hibiki approaches the Core and begins to sing, not one, nor two, but three songs. Gekisō Gungnir, Rainbow Flower and All Loves Blazing. The Core reacts strongly to the songs as it glows intensely. Faira hasn't seen it glow like this in a long time.
"Core? Is everything fixed now?" Faira asks.
She still feels sadness coming from the Core but it's almost gone. When Hibiki finishes singing, Faira thanks her.
"I can still sing, if you like."
"That's nice of you, but I think it's better to bring in someone else."
"How?" Hibiki asks before disappearing.
A 16-year-old girl appears in a flash of light.
"What...? How did I get here?"
"Welcome to the planet Emote’s Core Room. I am Faira, the Digital Goddess."
"Okay... Faira. What do you want?"
"It's the Core. It has problems, but they are almost solved. Only the Power of Song can help it.
"The Power of Song?"
"Will you sing it a song, please?"
"WHAT!?"
"I know. It sounds odd, but a strange sadness has come over it and it doesn't produce Content like it used to."
"I don't understand. Content?"
"But the sadness is almost gone. One more song and everything will be fixed. Please!"
"Uh, well, I... I don't sing."
"That's impossible. My powers, I have... I've clearly asked to bring in people who can sing."
"I meant that I sing but not professionally."
"That's okay. Sing it something, anything."
The teenager sighs. After telling Faira that her name is Makoto or Mako to her friends, she approaches the Core. Mako sings We Believe You.
♪ Arashi no naka o kakenukete ♪
The Core reacts to the song. It glows and Faira has tears in her eyes. The strange sadness is gone.
"Oh, thank you, thank you Makoto! The Core is back to normal!"
"I'm glad to hear it."
"Planet Emote is out of danger. I'll take you back to your world."
"Okay, Faira, but—"
Mako disappears in a flash of light.
"I'm glad to see you again like before, Core! Come on. You've got some Content to produce." Said Faira with a smile.
